Meet Dr. Fareen Koorjee, NMD

Over the years, I have become passionate about my belief that when we heal and empower women, everyone in our community benefits. I have a strong interest and expertise in health issues that are unique to, more common in, and that present differently for women, such as:

  • Adrenal Fatigue and Thyroid Disorders
  • Autoimmune Conditions
  • Gastrointestinal Health
  • PMS, Painful Periods, Fibroids, Endometriosis, Cervical Dysplasia, PCOS
  • Fertility Support and Pre-Conception Optimization
  • Peri-menopause and Menopause Management
  • Annual Gynecological Exams including Pap’s and Clinical Breast Exams
  • Therapeutic Detoxification

As director of the Woman’s Clinic at Medical Institute of Integrative Wellness my goal is to provide the best medical care for women during all the shifts and transitions that we go through in our lives.

My approach to care for my patients is integrative and holistic–I draw on my four years of medical school training along with two years of studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda. I use the latest, most advanced diagnostic tools, laboratory testing and imaging, combined with a thorough health history, to understand each patient as an individual, uncover the underlying cause of their illness and create an individualized treatment plan. I draw on modalities of nutrition, eastern and western botanicals, mind-body practices, lifestyle modification, naturopathic needling, constitutional cupping, IV therapies, and only when necessary pharmaceutical interventions.

My goal is to inspire health through education, positive change and personal growth. I look forward to meeting you and sharing in your health journey.
